Anatta: Non-self; the teaching that there is no permanent, unchanging self or soul.

Awakening: Enlightenment; the realization of the true nature of reality.

Bodhi: Enlightenment; awakening to the true nature of reality.
Bodhisattva: "Enlightenment being"; one who vows to achieve Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Buddha: "Awakened one"; refers to Siddhartha Gautama and all those who achieve full enlightenment.
